Slammin' record in it's day. And - today (ahead of it's time - and sick!). Proper underground biz - essential buy. Play loud. Highly recommended classic.

'25 to life' was a seriously advanced track in it's day... one of the most bangin' tracks ever made til then and could be used to launch or peak a set on any "greener set of heads" for a solid five years after. Many many other tracks released then - even many of those today revered as out-and-out classics - were a bit goofy with their mixing elements and being accurate with the loop-points and/or sync of sampled loops, but this one is still tight and meaty after 25+ yrs.

        Great 12" from Nu Groove
Stand out track on here is Murder (25 To Life Mix) - Hard driving beats, deep dark synth stabs, driving percussion, then comes the synth riff that has been used so so many times lifting the track absolutely awesome. Great tune.
Other 2 tracks are pretty decent too following a similar deep dark vibe.

B2 Manslaughter (First Degree Mix). Chunky beats and loud!. Eerie, moody and pretty dark! That heavy sub bass is killer too!
The whole e.p. is pretty serious too.
P.s. Who produced the original bass line then (not the sub bass)? https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/The-Octagon-Man-The-Demented-Spirit/master/15114
