you cant beat this. you can call it "old", and it is. but, this is good dancefloor genesis. nobody did this when they did this, besides Dynamix 2. that is important.

Brilliant so fresh better than stuff they make today along with Sem and Damon Baxter brilliant old school electro

It's 21 years since this piece of music found it's way onto vinyl, and doesn't it still sound amazing! It's one of my favourite pieces of oldskool / electronica. The producers in this era were the real pioneers of dance music.

All the tracks on this release are different versions of the same tune. JSK decribes this as "later versions of Free-er Than Free.";(Only available on white label)
Although these are very good versions, I feel that "Free-er Than Free" is much better. It still has the same drum patterns etc.. but is more stripped down than "The Demented Spirit" and has a very catchy sample...."wooh...it's all in my head" repeated through out the track. And over a dozen years later, it's still in my head!! JSK's finest tune in my opinion, although when I do play it, it has to be backed up with "The Demented Spirit", it really does keep you in the same vibe. To own both releases is a must have!!
