Tell you what - this was one of the first few nu groove releases I’ve bought but f’ck me - as to JB and other releases on this label I’m sold. Superb. Timeless.

Genius! And I dont use that term much... What a fascinating couple years Joey Beltram had back in the early days... He was on home runs for a long time even back then... Every track is sound! Including 2 Minute Madness... But obviously the other 3 take precedence.... But then again...This EP is like a book... This Side: Bring That Back (One More Time) is a quality breakbeat track suitable for all B-Boys and all the B-Girls... Funky! 2 Minute Madness I like us all 'Am I going mad here haha' ... Then Not This Side:
On The Verge mellows out the ugly paranoid head because we are ok and on the verge of a MASSIVE musical electronical phenomena ..(again). Then Annihilate (L.E.S. Mix) mellows and balances everything out... To me, this is such a personal fave Annihilate (L.E.S. Mix)..... Pure Trance for yo mind brothers and sisters... In a B-Boy and a B-Girl (new age but not hippies) stance of course!

NU GROOVE records are equally fascinating...

So from 1990 till 2020 what have, I learnt from this sound experience?

Well, basically that musical sounds don't ever pollute and are never parasitic just happy like us all... Imagine if the 'state' stopped you from listening to sound!?

You'd go from being 'mad' to madder!

2 minute madness is sampled by LTJ Bukem for his track 'orchestral jam' released on good looking in 1998

Mind blowing effort from Joey Beltram & Mike "Paradise" Munoz, one of the outstanding 12"'s of 1990.
A trip to the dark side.

If my ears are not deceiving me, Annihilate (L.E.S Mix) appears to include a brief sample from 'Were Rocking the Planet' by Hashim as it starts off... Very kool synth work in this track & one of my fave's from this Nu Groove period.
