Edited one month agoWell this is lovely. The presentation is remarkable. .
My pressing is a semi transparent snot green colour, which I find bizarrely very aesthetic.
Sounds fantastic.
Highly Recommend. -
I'm quite sure most of the people talking about this edition since 2020 are talking about a different record, I bought mine back in 2002 and it was supposed to be limited? And there is a notice that a almost identical issue is available. However this one sounds great and no issues with pressing...

No issues whatsoever with my copy. Clean, flat vinyl and a fantastic sound. Highly recommend this version. Great value for the money.

Edited 3 years agoIt’s a shame the noise on this pressing is so bad because the dynamics of the instruments are actually pretty good. Tyners piano seems a little louder in the mix than other pressings I’ve heard and the instrument separation is nice. But I couldn’t escape the overall noisiness. The right channel had a mid pitch hum that sounded like a dying cymbal constantly looping and the left channel had clicks and pops. And this is through the ENTIRE album. Super distracting with headphones on and you could even hear it with speakers. If it weren’t for this major issue I’d be super happy to have kept this release because the music sounded wonderful. Ended up getting an Acoustic Sounds John Coltrane - A Love Supreme version and am MUCH happier with the overall product.

I may have been lucky, but I had no issues with this pressing. It did look dirty out of the sealed sleeve, but was flat and warp-free and after a good wash sounded just fine.
