I just bought this yesterday and I’m blown away. As a big fan of The Who I’m in love. It’s a very clean and pristine vinyl that sounds outstanding. LOVE IT!

i am listening to a copy of this uk press right now, i bought this at TSS RECORD WORLD around 1979 and it had the usual GEM IMPORT sticker on the plastic wrapping of the sleeve, i was very young back then & this copy was 2 bucks more as it was an import, i asked one of the guys that used to walk those isles saying CAN I HELP YOU W/ SOMETHING why this was 2 dollers more then the other copies and he explained the import situation to me, he said since many more us pressings where printed in the us market that of coarse most all uk pressings where pressed in smaller numbers so this would sound better then a us press, anyway that sold me, i just pulled out my vg+ over 43 year year old copy of this and im glad when i was that young i knew to get a us copy to play to death as this always seemed to be on sale for 6 bucks in those days so i did not want to play my more expensive copy much, this sure has stood the test of time, the disc still sounds great and the sleeve has held up amazingly well as i always kept this in a record bag, my catlog # matches the one above and of coarse the disc & sleeve also have printed WHOD 5004, not sure but if this is not an original press it is very close as this was only out about 5 months when i bought this.... ps the number is only on the polydor sleeve disc not the sleeve.....

I do not see the dbx encoded version of this which is the best sounding of them all- of course, if it's decoded... It has a ridiculous s/n ratio!

Anyone heard of Canadian Steely Dan Greatest Hits MCA misprint? Side 4 on that release plays side 2 from The Who - Who Are You instead.

The original MCA CD release (1985) featured full artwork. The following year, the full artwork packaging of this and many other titles in the MCA catalog was scrapped and replaced with a more generic design (mostly, a plain text-only insert and pink gradient colored back cover). The back cover and booklet insert of these 'generic' prints render the title of track 3 as "3.905".
