-
Excellent pressing. Very clear and everything is well balanced. Stairway sounds particularly clean, but I'm biased towards the song itself.

I inherited the one I have. I know where this album has been since before I was born. I'm 48 and the now the 2nd owner of this one. It received a lot of play back in the day... After a nice ultrasonic bath, this vinyl plays waaaaaaaay better than I ever expected. Great mix on this one. Good balance. Nothing is lacking. Nothing is pushed too much much out in front.

I know club pressings are hit and miss but this is really punchy and dynamic. Sounds like it has more air than some of the other pressings. Excellent.
-
Solid pressing of one of Zeppelin's best. I've never compared it to the Classic but this one is great for a good price.
-
I have the variant copy listed here, lighter vinyl as others have mentioned. Also no club sticker on sleeve (or sticker residue).

Just scored one of these cheaply in almost NM.
Side A runout: ST A 712285D AT/GP PR PECKO
Side B runout: ST-A-712286-C AT/GP PR PECKO DUCK
1841 Boadway address.
Record club of America printed on labels and sticker on bottom left of back cover.
Definitely a thick g vinyl but not sure which. Probably less than 200g.
Is this a first press?

This is the only PECKO / PECKO DUCK variant I've found on Discogs. Mine is almost identical, but has a couple slight differences.
I have the St-A712285D AT/GP PR PECKO / ST-A712286D PECKO DUCK Matrix
My label has "MFG. BY ATLANTIC RECORDING CORP., 75 ROCKEFELLER PLAZA, N.Y., N.Y.", instead of 1841 Broadway.
Also - in the matrix, the etching on each side looks like a double D, so ST-A712286DD - but the second D is much more faint than the first, on both sides. -
