Edited 18 days agoSlightly juiced power-pop, with guitar and keyboard work out of the ordinary that genre. Anticipates/ resembles bands like Badfinger, Sloan, and Matthew Sweet. "Peace by Peace" was on an Elektra sampler ("Garden of Earthly Delights") I had years ago; I thought, "oh hell, these unknowns are good!"--the instrumental break in that, with its off-beat accents is a swingin', heavy groove--very tight, melodic band. This whole set is quite good in an era when some more famous groups with horns (ahem) weren't this tight or driving. I concur with others here that this holds up well.

Personal favourite. After all these years still gives a punch and a smile. A (forgotten) classic by all means!!!

1st class mix of crackling inventive hard-edged (power)pop rockers & melodic mid-tempo ballads featuring funky organ, fuzz guitar, vocal harmony. A solid overlooked gem of melodic guitar pop. Michael Fennelly went on to fame with Curt Boettcher's The Millennium & Sagittarius. Look out for his "Love Can Change Everything · Demos 1967-1972" CD - wonderful songs.
Obscure gem -
For 10 bucks you can get a really good blues/psych rock album that holds its own to any of the high priced "Grails" out there. Very fun album. grab it while it is still cheap
