The electronic drums sound great on the first track, 'Horror Epics', but once the tracks speed up a bit they sound really bad, they should have just used them on the first track and used regular drums on the rest of the LP. Having said that, this is still a decent LP, some great moments on it if you can forget about the drumming.

About the weird sounding drums:
I asked Wullie and he confirms they used a Simmons drum kit on this album.
Now that's SUCH an 80's thing to do, hahaha. I had always suspected it !
