Edited 4 years agoGreat thrash record to me at least. I think its a bit overlooked. I personally think this album was a big step for punk itself and showed how punk came back with a bang. My favorite track with the most brutal guitar playing on it would have to be Police Informer, I mean once it starts you know you in for a good listen and even the breakdown is memorable. I do agree though the album does start off rough but it's not the first or last. To be quite honest I think this album is as honest then anything before and I think it's more political from social to government. I think Scaling The Derry Wall really sucks you in. Adding To Their Fears has to be the greatest example of people fearing punks but I feel like it's a bit cocky considering hillbillies would make fun of punks and skins. Drive Me Insane it really shows what Wattie is capable of along with Don't Really Care. I really recommend this album to anyone who loves thrash and is looking more into getting into crossover or for anyone wanting to have a great record. I do recommend Jesus Is Dead and War Now too. Another thing is Nig and Wullie's guitar playing inspires me personally to play more thrashy stuff.
