Fuckin legendary punk album, my favorite record from the Exploited without question

The cover of this album embodies the typical 80's stereotyped punk imagery: not anymore rebel musicians, but metropolitan gangs of juveniles, all sporting spiked hair and dressing the same, wandering in the suburbs with their chains and iron bars, always looking for a fight with the authorities. You can even see some zombie-punks behind the band itself, which immediately leads to movies like "Return Of The Living Dead", where you find even more stereotyped and comical punks.

The Exploited surely contributed to all this with their almost irable dedication and hardcore belief in the cause, coupled with a total lack of any irony of sort, especially in the later years. Nonetheless, this album is really enjoyable, and songs like "Alternative", "Dead Cities" (released as single), "Sex & Violence" and a few others stand out as classics.

So punks became cartoons. What a shame. Or just natural progression. But who don't get the teenage gut feeling of violence when listening to "Jimmy Boyle" or "UK 82". The Exploiteds best and only album worth having (+ the single "Dead cities"). As a friend said: So bad it is good.
