I think this pressing sounds miserable compared to https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/de/release/19979392-Rage-Against-The-Machine-Rage-Against-The-Machine. But a nice collector's piece.

This pressing is awesome. I know picture discs get a bad rep (for good reason) but this one just sounds fantastic.

Edited 3 years agoA bit quiet (I've really gotta crank it), and it's a bit more crackly than I would like (even after a quick wash & dry/static removal)... but not bad for a picture disc.
If I can get my hands on an original 1992 pressing, I'd love to hear the difference; although I've heard it's simply too much music to cram onto 2 sides of vinyl, and I can kinda see how that applies here, even with the remaster.
The original CD will probably always be the best version, but I'm quite pleased with this guy until and unless I can find better.
EDIT: Upon another listen tonight, updating my original 3 stars to 4. -
Was skeptical as it's a picture disc, but it sounds surprisingly good on my LP60 with only one or two small crackles over all. no skipping etc.

Classic album. Picture disc looks great. Sounds great as well. Some surface noise but I guess that might be expected. Still very quality.
