Edited 6 months agoDecent pressing ill give it a 3 out of 5 for side 1 not jaw dropping but gets the job done average at best thats side1 now side 2 the Giles martin stuff sounds amazing 5 out of 5 stars for sure !!!!!!!!! so im giving it a solid 4 stars

Excellent pressing. Sounds really good. Probably one of the better sounding of the recent Beatles vinyl remasterings. Warm, yet sharp. Nice job!

"Yellow Submarine" and "All You Need is Love" sound a bit odd on Side A, however the 4 exclusive tracks sound fantastic. Side B's orchestral tracks, which 9/10 of you are definitely not buying this album for, sound gorgeous as well. It's just the the first and last tracks on Side A which sour this

Great pressing. Quiet vinyl by Optimal as usual, and solid packaging. I have this as my default pressing, since the cover is so beautiful and the bonus insert is great. The stereo panning on this album is absolute garbage, I can’t believe they took the hard panned route when the new tracks were recorded in ‘68, stereo had improved immensely by then.

Edited 2 years agoYellow Submarine. What a fantastic album. Side one is pure Beatles...side 2 is pure George Martin. I am told that most people just listen to side 1...that's sad...because side 2 is so much fun ...if you have seen the movie...which I assume most Beatles fans have. This pressing sounds great. I cant compare it to anything other than the cd releases. But...compared to most new vinyl...it sounds really good and the pressing and presentation is really nice. Update...I recently purchased a Japanese Stereo AP pressing. The Japanese version is superior IMO. BUT...if you only have this one you will probably be happy. And unlike many reviews...it doesnt sound like a cd on vinyl...1 because its not its 24/44.1 without limiters..and its not always the source its the way the vinyl is mastered. So there you go. IMO you should have both..as I do...its a different experience.
