A couple of years ago my daughter, and and her hubby, gave me this record from their collection. They knew that I was beginning to establish a vinyl collection of my own. I was 19 years old in 1966 when I first purchased Revolver, fairly early in establishing quite a substantial vinyl collection, until being swept away by CD mania in the mid '80s. Soon after that I sold my vinyl collection for next to nothing. Duh!! Now, in the past couple of years, I've collected a little more than 200 albums. I just gave my turntable a serious setup, and it's working as well as it ever will. I just listened to this 2012 copy of Revolver. Then I listened to it again, And then once again. What an incredibly fine sounding masterpiece from arguably the greatest group of musicians to ever live. And that is definitely my very honest opinion.

Great review, though 10 years later than this post, it rings so true. You had to be there to understand, as the writer of this post seemed to be. I was there too and I the same with Dylan and the Beatles.

My copy had the same songs on each side. Lame. :/

I love this record and pressing. Absolutely lovely for the cash. I wish others pressed their records with the same care.

I think I have a matrix variant that isn't listed here- Everything is the same except my copy has M4 on side 1 and M3 on side 2. I prefer the 2022 stereo remaster but curious to see if anyone else's pressing has matrix variants

Stellar!!! Maybe the Beatles' best, and it sounds pretty amazing. The 2022 mono is also great, but I am used to listen to a 1990's/ early 2000's CD version in stereo, so this is the one I put on the list. But no matter which version you own, it's an amazing record which took modern music so much forward. 11.9 out of 5 stars...

Please consider it is the 1966 tape pressed on vinyl. Stereo heads might also like the 2022 stereo cut of the great Revolver Super Deluxe Edition.

Really terrible pressing with a ton of surface noise and embedded dust and scratches. Not impressed.

My copy of this has the labels for Rubber Soul. Anyone else come across a copy like this? Bought in store in the UK in November 2022.

Interestingly I had a first pressing UK parlophone and I prefer this 2012 pressing that I bought.
The 2014 mono sounds really nice but its different. I grew up listening to the Stereo version so maybe its ingrained in my mind

I'm actually shocked, it sounds good! It might not be the best pressing of this album, but for what it is, and considering the bad reputation the 2012 remasters get, it's alright! If you don't know which pressing to get, in of stereo, this is not a bad option. Yes, there's better options out there, but you won't be disappointed if you go for this one.
