Edited 9 months agoYes an awesome pressing as all of these Doors double 45 rpm lps are. Makes no sense at all why Analogue Productions wants to press a UHQR 33 1/3 single disc of this title. Come on Chad that's beyond silly and you're better than that. Must be to appease the folks who despise flipping 45s. And he even its this one will still sound better than the new UHQR.

OMG that’s surely one of the best sounding records I ever listened too. I won’t add anything else but would like to let my testimony here engraved in stone!

Love this one. I have 7 copies (several OGs, DVD-A, recent remaster), but this one is the best. As others have written. (I also have the Sessions box set, but that’s a whole ‘nother animal.)
Anyway, that’s not why I’m posting. As I’m sure that most of us with a few 45s have surely done, I forgot to change the speed on Side 3. L’America sounds GREAT slow. (Before the vocals start…) Not realizing at first, I was listening, thinking, Wow! I’m hearing instruments and detail I’ve never heard before here!! And then realized, right before the vocals hit. -
A superlative pressing in every way. The music positively leaps out of a dead silent background. I am puzzled by the less flattering comments!

If you recently purchased this, it's likely the 180g version:

If you want to know the true sound of LA Woman, get this pressing. It's the best sounding rock record I've heard. Absolute terrific dynamics, clarity and separation of instruments. Totally flawless pressing. You have to pay big "bucks" in EU, but it's still worth of it. Highly recommended!

Edited 2 years agoAwesome, super high quality, album cover is nice a think cardboard, glossy, nice to handle, Records are heavy and at 45rpm, they produce great sound. Excellent pressing.
