Personally I love this album, it was the first album of Beefhearts that I heard so perhaps I wasn't expecting another TMR. I think the guitar licks and the lyrical romantasy compelling. Don't be put off from listening to this album by music snobs I urge you. This press is fantastic imho

Upon The My-Oh-My live on Old Grey Whistle Test is fantastic. A different type of Cap'n but I love it.

This is a great pressing, in my opinion better than UK pressings which I had previously. It seems far more dynamic and exciting.

oddly released in April 74 - Bluejeans Nov 74 however Doscogs insist its the other way round. An album of true then American blues.
