Edited 20 days agoFinally received my copy today from Discrepancy Records, Melbourne OZ - An excellent online store!
I've had the "Promo", Live on tour single LP for years and whilst the sound was very good, this 2LP re-issue beats it hands down!
Great pressing, amazing sound dynamics (drums sound as if they're in the room)!
Nice to have a superb official TH document that has been curated with care, one of the best sounding live LP's I own and there are quite a few (legit and non legit)! -
Really nice pressing. Quite a nice surprise. The name of this band is the Talking Heads still one of my favorite live albums ever. This one’s a close talking heads second. Excellent job on the mastering and very quiet wax. Recommend.

What’s the recording and mastering like? The ratm was super lacking according to so many so just want to check in.

It's fantastic. A must for fans of More Songs. The energy of Thank you for sending me an angel closing the show is off charts. The texture in the instrumental parts where Frantz and Tina are lead is magic. Example, intro to Warning Sign. They played a great version of Electricity (Drugs) from Fear of Music. The recording shows TH at my favorite time of their career.
The music was brilliantly played, they are tight. At first listen I think there are no background vocals (from Tina) which surprised me. The mixing, mastering and pressing is perfect to my ears. Dynamic, all instruments very clear, quiet pressing. -

Rhino keeps knocking these live releases out of the park. Just when I think I’ve heard enough of their concerts , they still surprise me. Stand out is a great 7 min jam of Psycho Killer
