I basically bought this album blind. I hearing about the band in the mid nineties when I first started buying music. That said, listening to it now definitely brings back some 90’s nostalgia sounds.

This vinyl sounds amazing. Nice clarity and dynamics. Such a quiet background it sounds like a CD.

I loved this album when it was first released and this new 30th annivessary rematered version, actually sounds even better if that's possible,it somehow makes Tanya's vocals sound even better,a slight rework of the original album artwork too. I always loved "Now They'll Sleep' and "Silverfish" as tracks on this album,I also pre-orded the re-issuve version on CD as well.4AD seem to be going through their vaults and re-mastering and re-isung iconic albums like this one. I have a version of this album in a hardback book form and on this version the last track is sung in French and I love that version. Belly as a group for the short time they were around were brilliant and were also brilliant playing live.I think Tanya's song writing really came into it's own on this album. This pressing plays really well with no surface noise. Tanya did reform the group agin and they released an album called "Dove" and some EP's and they are also really worth listening too. This remaster is so good that it doesn't sound like it's 30 yearsold at all, the album hasn't dated at all and I'm reminded why I loved it so much when I first heard it. I love that we have Record Store Day, so we can find treasures like this album for our collection

Echoing other sentiments in the room: clean, quiet, and deep. The percussion really breathes and Tanya sounds like she's sitting right in front of you. I was also concerned. Pleased to say I am now merely satisfied. This is a fantastic pressing. Worth it if you can get it before it gets ridiculous. And probably even then, really.

Anyone compare this to the OG white vinyl first press?

Pretty basic sleeve, but they spent the money where it matters. Sounds gorgeous. Brings me right back to the first time I listened to this album.

This is a great remaster, and the sonics are awesome, fat and deep, this thing rocks..very good pressing, hardly any noise and flat, cool color too

Beautiful pressing with little to no surface noise and great mastering.
                I’d recommend it whole heartedly.

A lovely pressing that sounds great. While I do not favor colored vinyl, this light green vinyl is beautiful.

Fantastic sounding master and quality pressing. I was a little concerned about the color vinyl and light weight, but nothing to worry about. I gave it a quick Spin Clean and there is no real surface noise to speak of. The soundstage is wide open and there are good dynamics here. It leans a little to the low end but Tanya is right up front and she sounds great. Relatively cheap for a RSD Exclusive release and worth it.

Digital streaming version that’s been available sounds lifeless and muddy, this pressing clears it easily.
