2015 remasters were for first released as hi-res format in streaming, then they were released in physical format with 2019 digipak CD run. This is the first time those remasters are on vinyl.

2014 LP's used different master, which is obvious if you go listen them. They're much closer to originals.

Nice sounding re-release. No clicks or pops. Same for "Seventh Son..." (2024).

They very specifically campaigned that these 2024 run LP's were from hi-res digital remasters. Doesn't really make sense to say that and not market them as analog source if they were?

I haven't got 2014 Somewhere in Time, but 2014 Powerslave very clearly was not remastered version. And this LP sounds like it is the remaster, so I'd say 2014 and 2024 are clearly not the same master.

That video is 10 years old and has no relation to this particular LP release.

Actually the video has every relation to these. Look at the print next to the barcode: 2015 REMASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are all the same remasters , the difference is these were cut by Bellman.

Tibi1974 It is because the 2014-one is AAA-cut directly from the master tapes. You should hail that pressing actually. It sounds pretty good. Unfortunately the tape had some issues. This Chris Bellman (this) is also a good pressing, but cut from a digital file.
When that is said, an original (OG) kills the reissues, and it is not that hard to find at the same prices as these reissues.

Can’t compare to an original but this sounds quite good to me. Solid low end, decent separation. A tad over compressed, lack some air (I suppose this is a digital transfer), some minor sibilance in the ride and hihats but nothing overwhelming. Pressing is flat and mostly silent.

Just bought this album after I bought https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/6327367-Iron-Maiden-Somewhere-In-Time which is compete trash. That one has pitch wobble distortion on side B track 1 . That has been eliminated on this pressing probably because Bernie and crew had higher standards. Recommending this pressing!

It's good, but low volume and a bit flat. Absolutely no comparison to the DMMs.

I've given a try to this reissue as my original 1986 italian copy begun to skip in one instance on 'wasted years'. Gotta say that I like this new 2015 remaster issue on vinyl.
The LP is flat and almost dead silent, I'll make a quick /wash on my humming guru but it's perfect as is.

Can someone confirm or deny if they've fixed the tape wobble on The Loneliness of the Long Distance runner that was present on the previous 2014 reissue?
