Other reviews were not kidding. I didn't even need to give this a deep clean before listening. Crystal clear, and no dust buildup from playback. Very good mastering. Inserts are awesome. Very pleased with the snag from the recent soundofvinyl sale.

Edited 10 months ago100% do not regret it. Vinyl is quieter than I am. Only complaint is that the sleeves they came in were made of this strange tough lining that scuffed the records taking them out, which left persistent annoying clicks through all of Picasso's Last Words. It's almost totally inaudible however, which I consider a stroke of luck. That aside, this is inarguably a great purchase. The underdubbed is cool as well, it grants a whole new angle into the making of one of my favorite albums. Guaranteed to go up in value. Five stars.

Edited one year agoFinally got around to listening to this remaster. First of all It is one of my fav albums of all time. That being said - they did a great job with this. Record is clean noise free and flat. Packaging is excellent. One comparison. I have the Capitol "From the Vaults" vinyl of this album. All I can say is that version absolutely slams. Total rock record but with the detail and clarity needed. This version is not the same. But just as good. Less slam and more detail. More -- I hate to say this - audiophile. Love both versions. Great job to Paul's team. IMO. Now on to disc 2. Just finished disc 2. Its ok. But it doesnt do much for me. As a musician myself it sounds like the cuts you make prior to fixing mistakes. i guess I will listen to is a few times ..but how many times can you listen to PM straining to hit the notes on songs? Its not a dig its just what us singers do when we dont use auto tune. Otherwise its cool.

I ordered my copy from the Paul McCartney website yesterday, I got it today and just finished spinning both discs. Phenomenal sound, very quiet, and another home run half-speed master from Miles Showell!! A must have for any McCartney or Wings fans!!
