This is a great sounding pressing! Wide soundstage and well balanced mids and bass. My copy has some age related surface noise but the sonics are so well EQ’d that it shines through. Better than any digital remaster I’ve ever heard!

I have no other pressings to compare to. That said, the copy I just picked up is exceptional condition. The vinyl plays quiet. The bass is tight. The highs are clear. The mids seem to be a bit more pronounced than the rest... and this isn't a bad thing. The mix is pretty well balanced and sounds great to my ears.

Edited one year agoMastered and pressed by Columbia. Listen to most Columbia from this era—perfect in every way. Hard to believe the UK is a better pressing, maybe more “collectable”.
