Edited one year agoThe vinyl color is absolutely stunning — one of the most metallic and sparkly gold discs I’ve ever seen. Truly a sight to behold. I haven’t listened yet but I’m a bit nervous it’s going to sound like sandpaper due to just how much metallic pigment is in these discs, so we’ll see…
Mainly I came here to comment at how horrible the printing quality of the jacket is. It looks like a bad scan, with “stair stepping” on any line work along with full on pixelization and compression artifacts all over the place. Basically it looks like a highly compressed JPEG. This is especially weird because the recent 2022 Music on Vinyl reissue of this very same album looked perfect; all the artwork was crisp, clear and correct. Even Bandbox’s edition of Want One has perfectly crisp and clear artwork. Their edition of Want Two, on the other hand…? Big yikes.
