amazing. to quote PCM - "a very special artist who represents for me la crème de la crème, the direct son of BC without ripping them off (like too many suckers did very badly), with his own original “darker than deep” style : Atheus."

Brilliant album on a fantastic label, from an outstanding artist! I had this album in my wantslist for about a year and I wish I had just bought it when I first discovered it. This is totally original sounding dub techno and ambient! I must agree with the other reviewer, that " Einsatz" is an absolute gem of a track and I would buy this album purely for that track! If you can find this for relatively cheap grab it with both hands, if not then just get it you won't be disappointed! My personal favourite on this compilation is Unendlich, what a bass line..throbbing away in the background..absolutely stunning! Can't fault this album at all.

"Einsatz" is one of the best e-dub tracks ever (would contest it, but stats argue against it). It is so underrated. Late in the making, but that is not an argument. I've played it so many times and I'm just loving it. Can't see it wear out. Sublime.

After releasing his music on some of the best labels around in the genre (MoM, Styrax, Baum), Serge Collin aka Atheus drops this amazing compilation on the notoriously good Silent Season imprint. This arrangement brings to light Serge's signature take on dub techno, abounding in heavy chords, deep growling bass, reverberating synth stabs, timely hi-hats, well executed delays and should definitely be considered as a benchmark for the whole dub techno scene.
Notwithstanding the scarcity and prices of this cd, it's a comfortable way of getting all those brilliant tracks on one item,
however lovers of vinyl should certainly engage in a great wax hunt and collect all 12's with tracks that comprise this album.

this is the album more dub, less techno feel atmosphere imho and this guy is great.
its just 'Dequadrant Redux' deserve the buying this album alone.
              highly recommended :)

The forest cover art for this compilation befits it well.
The tracks found here are unhurried, a bit overcast, and very pleasing.

Though this is a compilation, the tracks here fit together like a proper album.
Solid dub techno that any fan of the genre could appreciate.

His first album is magical stuff, so check it out as well.
