For me the best label out there. Gorgeous visual design and packaging combined with the deepest of sounds you can ask for. A label owner who manages professionally and has each step under control. Communication towards the fan base is exemplary, shippings are punctual, the quality of CDs and Vinyls is always top notch. The magic thing about Silent Season is that it gets the best out of each artist. I'm always excited for a new one. Consistent, forward thinking and perfect for all moods and seasons. Thank you Jamie for your dedication and love for music!

In one word, this label is Superb!!!! The creme de la creme of deep, underground electronic music. From Dub techno to deep techno to ambient, this is one of the few labels that I buy every single release without hesitation.
I have also discovered a lot of new artists and some fantastic new up and coming artists by following Silent Season.
Do yourself a favour and check this label and the myriad of artists it s, I promise you won't be disappointed =) -
Edited 9 years agoSo far, so great. Silent Season is a consistent quality label. If the by-now notable releases off of similar labels such as Dakini or Ultimae are any comparison, I'd offer that the beautiful works contained within Silent Season's anthology of music are essential complements for fans of this vein of absorbing, deeply immersive music. Among my favorites so far are "Stillpoint" by Purl, "Arctic Cicle" by Axs, "Ocean Stories" by Wanderwelle, and "Time Heals All" by ASC. As I'm still sifting through this discography for new finds, I'm likely missing some vital treasures based on my success rate.

I have the first 6 SSV0x's in my possession.
I can prove the sale @ deejay.de and can take photo's from them, never openend, nor played.
Real Mint condition, not Near Mint.
Mint.
I need some cash and would like to sell all of them @ once.
I even think I have 2 SSV05's (mistake from deejay.de).
Proof will be records with newspaper of the day and any other proof requirements you need/ask cause I'm a new / beginning seller after all.
me if interested. -

I agree, a label that has (and I'm sure will) continue to release well crafted, well produced releases from a wide variety of composers that so far have shown an exacting knowledge of ambient and dub features. I sometimes hesitate with buying the physical releases; rather purchase FLAC's instead, and have on numerous occasions kicked myself for doing so as I really do like their quality CDr and packaging.

One of the most exciting labels producing some of the best minimal and dub music of the last 12 Months...the future is indeed looking good...
