Reviews

Love the album. Soundwise, it's fine, but not hugely different than my 1995 CD (that series was pretty good if a little hard sounding, but then so are original LPs). The old cover stock is very nice though.
-
sounds great to my ears. also had a minor piece of black wax hit my copy on the a-side, otherwise it looks gorgeous. the jackets for these reissues are interesting, like none I've had before. good pressing!
-
Sounds great and is pretty flat. The jacket is unfinished matte paper which gives it a cool bootleg feel. My jacket is glued together a little low so the there is a small gap in the seam. There is a couple spots from black PVC that got into the wax. Neither are a big deal though.

ordered for $32 from uDiscover and received my copy. This is a crazy record with so much sound on the original recording—this reissue is nice. The original sound was more like a live recording and this captures it well! No significant distortion even on the wild horns. Worth buying! Artwork is beautiful

Edited one year agoAvailable for $40 from uDiscover, and also from Third Man Records (with a vault subscription) as of 8-18-2023. My copy appears flat and defect-free, although it just arrived and I haven't played it yet.
