There's lots of vinyl reviews but no CD reviews and I wanted to share my thoughts.
The CD version is a nice package. It is the usual cardboard, as is the trend these days, but it has two compartments, colourful artwork and a lyrics sheet with a poster on the reverse - you couldn't really ask for anything more. Perhaps a few more photos would be cool but maybe that would be a bit pointless anyway.
As for the music, I love it, which is why I bought it. Thanks, Fever Ray. -
#3421, Nothing wrong with my copy, actually quite good, Side B is just as right as side A, only the last song of Side A, "Even it Out" is clearly distorted and not cut correctly. -

Edited 2 years agoUnfortunately same faults here. On both sides is quite a lot of surface noise. Especially on side B are a lot of distortions which are not acceptable for me. In addition the record was lightly warped. Less than ideal!
Did you buy yours sealed? Mine came in an open cover with stickers on it.

my copy had some significant surface noise on both sides. after cleaning it twice, side a sounds good but side b is still a mess. packaging is beautiful though. still quite disappointed... -

RED VINYL : Side A plays perfect but Side B has loud audible scraping noise over the music on tracks 3, 4 and 5... very disappointing that this wasn't checked properly on the test pressing... is the black vinyl the same?

Edited 2 years agoI have copy no. 0004304. I’ve seen on social media people claiming this is limited to 4000, but that is not accurate. My copy sounds amazing, but does have some clicks on the last song of side B. This pressing sounds wonderful otherwise, and the album sounds much more live and present on vinyl. Very happy with this edition. ❤️
