Edited 10 months agoSome of the copyright info on the back is confusing because of the (c) 2014, but this is the 2022 pressing. It's also best-sounding version of this album that I've ever heard. Got an OP Columbia and the old CD for comparison, and this one has a much punchier low end, IMHO.
(edit) Just saw that this is a Chris Bellman cut--of course! One of my go-to mastering engineers!
Side note: there is some low groove rumble on the opening cut of side 1 and side 2. -
Simple presentation, nice clean vinyl, some people have complained about compression on the what Discogs seems to think is the US Version of this same pressing but I think it sounds just spectacular. Clemons' sax blasts through the speakers, the vocals are tight, everything builds the right way in Born to Run... One of my favorite albums and this one sounds great.
