Edited one year agoThis is a great reissue. I just compared it to the new AAA Kevin Grey and it really holds up. I love this record so I’m very happy to have the AAA CUT. It sounds superb. But don’t feel bad if you are left with this one. It’s pretty damn good.

The Marquee Moon reissue is out now! This is an edition of 5000
EDIT: use code "CC23WMX10" for $4 off -
Edited one year agoRhino is reissuing MM this month as part of its all-analog High Fidelity series. I’m listening to this clear vinyl version now. It does sound good. But it will be interesting to compare.

Liking the sound of this pressing. Rich, punchy and no sibilance. Just a shame that my copy jumps half way through 'Marquee Moon'.
Anyone notice ominous rumblings on both sides? I only hear it at high volume. -
The very first time I heard this whole album was a roommates OG copy with the fadeout on the title track (somewhere in a thrift store or garbage dump in New Orleans is the tape I made of it). This is just as good, or better because it has the full version.
-
Absolutely sublime sound. Was worried because it's a clear vinyl pressed by GZ, however my worries quickly subsided. Actually sublime, plus it has the full version of Marquee Moon unlike OG pressings. Must-buy

to the guy who just threw this very much in print record up for $100 immediately after news of tom's death: go fuck yourself.
-
When they say "limited edition" it means what? Any source that actually states a number of copies pressed or is just a question of "it's cool to say it's a limited edition and fool people that way"?
