This copy is good. Not great (to me), but I can’t find great. The drums and bass sound just a tad muffled. It’s A LOT better than the recent re release in 2015 (or whenever) though. Robert P sounds great on this. Buy this if you can find it.

I've had this variant since the early 80s. Not sure where I bought it, probably either Buttons, Sound Warehouse, or Starship here in Tulsa. Regardless, it's old enough not to have a hideous barcode on the back cover, so that's a bonus. To my ears, this record sounds very good. Very low surface noise, clear detail, good transients, deep but clean bass, and crisp natural highs. Very low sibilance and I haven't noticed any IGD. This may not be a Bob Ludwig, but I bet it sounds damn close. If you come across one of these in good condition, it's a keeper. Cheers.

Need some help with this one. This version is the closest to what I own, but there is a label variation. Under "STEREO" the text "R-212318" appears. And the matrix etching is R 212.318 A-1 0-1SM2-2. Thoughts?
