Wow, this pressing is absolutely silent. I'm pretty shocked to see how many people had issues with theirs since mine is actually one of the nicest sounding albums in my collection. Crazy. -
For an MPO press this is OK. I cleaned it vaccum 2 times and 2 times Ultrasonic. Both LPs are centred and flat and the laquers are cut very well. Sound is really good. It has some noise here and there, yes, but as I said this is the worst pressing plant in europe and their output is in most cases unlistanable. -

Found this on a store rack months after release and was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews here but I'm glad to say my copy was perfect in every way. Gorgeous, flat blue marbled discs with no pops or crackle and very limited floor noise. Lovely heavy inner sleeves with a fascinating set of notes. Only curiosity is the claim of 60mins of "additional music", it's way less than that. 40mins tops and not all could be considered essential. Very glad to own it, though.

Unfortunately does the second disc have a massive issue. The hole is totally off centre and due this, the songs close to the middle are a pain in the a.. to listen. Sounds like an old tape machine.

Both sides of first disc had a terrible swooshing noise throughout in the right channel and the second disc was full of pops and crackles. Nice packaging but who cares about that when the product is so shoddily made?

My copy has a pretty horrendous rip through the side A label, cutting it in three pieces. Although, considering the movie’s content, this could be considered a happy accident (but it’s definitely a major production error). I’ve got some audible repeating pops in at least three of the tracks across 4 sides, and random surface noise throughout, but the blue marbling does look gorgeous. I appreciate the dedication to vintage Italian poster art for the cover, but to me it doesn’t work as well in the square album art format and really feels designed to be a poster hung in a movie theater lobby or bus stop in 1980’s Italy instead of an LP jacket. After listening to this after the superior Lost Highway re-release treatment on splatter vinyl, I wonder what kind of different QC processes pressing factories have. The one this one came from probably should step it up a notch.

Kind of amazed that this sounds decent at all, but it really is rather strong though audibly digital (Precision AutoSonics is a company that digitizes analog tape, although quite well as evidenced by this release). Would recommend it, especially with the very nice aesthetics otherwise (great original Italian poster art that's nearly as startling as the film itself included).
