Maybe its the Yamaha tape deck im using, but this tape sounds fantastic. Sounds great on my Sony walkman as well. Prequelle cassette is fantastic as well. -

Completely underwhelming. I love the tape format from the 70s to 90s, but what happened to this one? It’s flat, atrophied, and sounds digitally distorted, none of the punchy high mids and tape saturation I’ve been accustomed to growing up in the cassette era. I also can’t read anything on the J-Card, as the color of the print just does not stand out and its like size 3 font. Also the cassette’s shell doesn’t even list the songs titles, which is pretty lame (cheap). I think I’ll stick with LPs, CDs, and WAV files in the 2020s. -
