One of the best albums of 2022! This pressing is stunning and sounds like the band is playing live in my room. Beautiful packaging too though a gatefold would’ve been appropriate for a record of this magnitude both the music and the artwork.
-
As others have said, this album sounds amazing. It's easily one of the best mastered new records I have. And the music itself is some of the best I've heard in a long time. Not a single pop or click. I just picked it up out of curiosity, little did I know that I just picked something this good

my god, this record sounds phenomenal. feels like hearing the album for the first time. if you have a good setup, the production quality is indisputable. whoever mastered this was absolutely killing it.

I don’t know what these negative lunatics are going on about it sounding like junk. So far I’ve played through the black version and this Target version and Ghost has never sounded better on vinyl. SO happy such care was taken in this pressing! The naysayers must be part of the …other church.

Edited 3 years agoThe color is a lot less red than shown in the photos. In low light it looks red but with good lightning more pink/magenta coloring.

My copy has a pop on the first instrumental track, which I'm not obsessive enough to care about. (I saw one other person complain about this, so it's not just my copy.)
However, starting about the second half of each side, there's a noise that sounds like a tire on asphalt in the background. THAT is a little much. I gave it a thorough cleaning, so it isn't just factory grime. I'm returning it and will try a different pressing.
