Brand new Music On Vinyl lp. I notice that the horns and piano are L the bass Center-Right, and drums R.
Does anyone else have this experience?
I will say that the MOV vinyl is dead black quiet, though it gives my anti-static brush a workout.
Cheers,

I own a 67 stereo, a Speakers Corner, a Mofi 2x45 and this mono version. Just performed a shootout with the 45 and I do say I don't think you'll ever be able to pry this mono out of my hands. The mofi is fine but the mix fails to do what I need it to do in my system. My biggest beef is that that drums are centered in the mix but they stay at the speakers meaning they don't present center thus not making it a convincing image. In other words I can't find Tony! The mono kills the the stereo imagery in every way. Every instrument is separated and holographic. The speakers simply disappear on the mono. Fortunately my mono is near mint. Had I been dealing with surface noise issues I'd might go Mofi but I got lucky with this one.

Incredible sound on this. One of the greatest, most innovative GroupsOAT just rips.
Looking to replace my flaking, water damaged cover if anyone has one. DM me.

I haven't had enough listens to really review, but I will say that every stereo version (digital or vinyl) I've listened to has annoying sibilance on side two that is not a problem on this mono copy. I also got a copy described as Mint that truly is, super clean as I've heard an OG pressing.

Incredible sound on this. Every musician on top form, and their instruments come through loud and clear. Sold my 45RPM Mofi copy, as this mono sounds better.

This pressing sounds amazing. Seriously. I put my two eye stereo copy up for sale because it wasn't even in the same league sonically.

Edited 5 years ago“360 Sound” indeed, but in MONO that is! Mo-no, Mooooooooonnnnnoooo! Miles and Mono go together like his mouth on a trumpet, in the very same way that the Beatles and Mono are synonymous. Miles of Miles’ albums in Mono please?! The Stereo cut of “...Smiles” is not bad, it’s just a totally completely different listening experience, not Mono! Just compare the two, Mono Vs. Stereo, totally different! Did I mention Monaural? 😋🔊🔊
