Edited 4 months agoThe mastering of this vinyl press is very wonderful but has defects. Around 2 minutes and 30 seconds into Close To The Edge there is a distortion that sounds like the tape is warped, which is not very pleasant to listen to. Also, the vocals are somewhat rough in resolution, which is concerning. However, the mastering is excellent, perfectly matching the song from high to low frequencies. Because of that, this vinyl press is truly disappointing.

Very quiet vinyl with wide soundstage and excellent sonics. More instrumental clarity than 1st US press.

Yeah, not sure what the guy below is talking about. I own a couple of pressings of this and this one sounds fantastic. I have an OG and the Wilson Box. This one sounds great in its own way imo. If you typically like Japanese pressings then jump on it.

Edited one year agoMy copy sounds noticeably better than my early Canadian copy (the only other copy I had before). Quieter, less distortion, more clarity, more open sounding, punchy and clear bass too.
