Quality product, cover and inners are not blurry (unlike some "music on vinyl" represses) sound is great except some distortion at the end of side one on sh and s sounds. You can hear the adaptative compression they used to keep a relatively high volume, but an untrained hear will ear nothing
Until there's a 2LP reissue : buy with confidence,
it was worth the wait because price is honest -

Edited 3 years agoLife thru a lens and I've been expecting you are both great albums, but the sound is terrible considering they have been remastered at Abbey Road Studios - I've Been Expecting More! The artwork is great :-)

Edited 3 years agoBoth these reissues are done right, as people say on here - the designer has actually gone back and retrieved the original photographs from the 1997 and 1998 shoots rather than just blowing up the CD covers, which seems to have become the norm when no LP artwork exists (or even when it exists but has been lost), so there's loads of detail revealed that I've not seen before. The inner sleeves and typesetting are completely consistent with the CD and cassette versions and the pictures look brilliant at this size - the only difference is that the track lengths have been corrected in a couple of places compared with the original artwork. The records are flat and centred. Whoever was in charge of this project has done a fantastic job. It shouldn't be unusual, but it really is! -
I Don't understand why this is a blocked release when it is officially release through RW.
