My copy is fine in regards to pressing quality. What I don't enjoy is the mix, the vocals and guitar solos are too upfront and the rhythm guitar is far back, so it doesn't sound like the classic Dinosaur Jr's "wall of sound". I guess my ears are too accustomed to their classic noisy approach. Maybe it was a stylistic choice for this particular album. Besides that, this album has some great tunes

Edited 4 years agoGot a bad copy full of noise and constant cracking sounds. I wonder who pressed this version. Still not sure if I will return it because it contains a signed art print. Mastering and production are totally low fi. This is one of the worst sounding records in my collection, You’re living all over me sounds better. Makes me wonder because Kurt Viles albums all sound fine.

Beautiful looking disc, good pressing quality. I’m a little disappointed with the mix. Drums too far back, vocals too upfront.

Great pressing without surface noise or clicks n pops. Beautiful coloured vinyl. The 4 track live CD is a neat little bonus too, though I'd have preferred it as a bonus 10" record. And as for the music itself: classic dinosaur. It makes me as happy as listening to the best of their 80s und 90s output. 10/10 record for me.
