My copy sounds fine. No surface noise and mixed like Kyuss should sound: distant vocals and muddy. Volume a bit low, but I would rather have this than have it sibilant and clipped. I just turn it up and rock out.

Edited one year agoGood pressing, a little bit quiet because there’s too much music for just one vinyl… crank it up and it will sound good….
-
Edited 2 years agoNice heavyweight vinyl for me - 192 grams. In addition, it is extremely quiet and flat. Sound wise, it sounds like you would expect a Kyuss record to sound - dense and muddy but is nice dynamic especially when cranked. Really pleased with my copy!

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2014 and 2021 pressing "visually". They both share the same barcode and hype sticker.

Absolutely terrible pressing, newspaper quality like Cover, no lyric sheet. Flat, muddy and quiet sounding record.
-
This pressing sounds extremely flat and muddy to me. No issues with cleanliness, just sounds flat... disappointing.

Edited 3 years agoDirtiest new record I've ever bought, I cleaned the thing 5 times and there was still dust and dirt coming up. Doesn't help that it sounded flat and trapped in the speakers. Have since traded to a record store, terrible pressing.
