Been wanting to pick this up for awhile now. Got it on eBay for a steal @ $20 used (mint copy). And the reviews here are spot on! Sounds fantastic! Dead silent and punchy! Highly recommended!

Yeah this pressing sounds incredible! I was a little hesitant, but the reviews aren’t wrong. I wish the Jar of Flies pressing sounded a fraction as good as this one

The 2024 version does not appear to be cut by Chris Bell (CB) unlike the 2020 US pressing. Does anyone know how you can tell the difference without opening the record?

Sounds very good, but my copy is pressed off-center and has some warping (does not affect playback). Little to no surface noise.

                Flat dead quiet pressing!

Best I’ve heard this album. Thundering lows and great highs with Laynes voice to the forefront.

                Pressing: 9.5/10
                Mix: 10/10

Great repress, all of dynamics is here. I don't hear any pops, except for the silent parts.

My newly-arrived repress copy does not have the MPO logo stamped in the runout on either of the 4 sides, so it looks like this could have been manufactured by a completely different facility. Also the shrink-wrap on mine is folded over on the back (pull-apart style), as well of being completely devoid of any hype sticker. If anybody else has a copy that has these marks please let me know!

Pretty awesome pressing. Front cover is pixelated, but the inner sleeves are nice, glossy reproductions. I disagree with other reviews regarding muddiness on the mid-to-upper ends. I've listened to this on everything but the original vinyl and the instrumentation is fine. If anything, the original recording was tinny and lacked the bass and toms/kick that the remaster pushes up. The vocals really shouldn't be touched and I'm not seeing anything level-wise that suggests they were. "Love, Hate, Love" is the best I've ever heard it, and I really don't see much to complain about. Touch of sibilance on "I Know Something 'Bout You" but generally solid otherwise. I have very few gripes about this pressing other than the front cover being pixelated and always wanting a gatefold for double disc titles.
