Edited 12 months agoGreat pressing! My copy sounds pristine. Super quiet and good dynamics. I love how you can crank this and barely hear any surface noise. Love the feel of the packaging as well. Like someone else mentioned below however, only handle the sleeve with clean hands cuz you will cause fingerprints. Great reissue! Recommended! -
One of their strongest records? I would say so. Produced at a high level all around. Definitely a must own for any fan. Pressing sounds great! Highly recommended! -
Edited one year agoBought brand new sealed for 29 CAD. Record is not perfectly flat, but nothing too bad. Pressing is mostly clean and quiet (some noise and a very few soft clicks, but nothing distracting). It sounds pretty crisp, deep and detailed. A very immersive and engaging experience (sounds are coming from everywhere in my system). What a fantastic album! 4.8 / 5 -
If ever something needed a true audiophile pressing, it's this album. This pressing is......fine, but there is so much more in the music that's just left on the table. It'll sound a better than your CD. -

Really solid pressing. Somehow warming up what was always digital. Nice depth and bass is solid.

Edited one year agoThe jacket on my copy has “Made in Netherlands” on the back cover and “Made in EU” on the labels. Both side are the correct Violator tracks. And has the printed inner sleeve. Beautiful pressing, sounds great. Bass is not as overwhelming as the SACD and maybe should have been bumped a bit. But it sounds great as it is.

This remaster blows away the original cd on my system. The SPARS code on the cd is AAD. Is it possible this is all analog? I just bought it new. The jacket reads "made in Netherlands " instead of Canada. Everything else matches this version except mine came with lyrics and credits on the inner sleeve. Remastered by Simon Heyworth, cut by Mike Marsh.
