Does anyone else find a few songs on this album downright unsettling? The Elders is kind of a creepy song.

I see that certain WP titles have not been remastered or updated. Makes no sense as the music is always great. I'd say the complete box set is the way to go if you can get a bargain.

I have been a weather report fan since 1972. I love how they got more funky progressive and when I bought Mr. Gone, River people blew me away. Still an all time favorite and does not leave my DJ crate ever.

Edited 11 years agoPicked this album up the other day from a thrift shop - "River People" is a seriously good jazzy and funky tune..the disco of '78 creeps into this one toward the middle. I could hear this today and people would likely come up to the tables asking if it was new! Wait until you hear the synths on this one...
