Excellent sound to my ears - clear, detailed and immersive. Cool thick gatefold cardboard. Great quality of release overall!

I really like this pressing. Great clarity relative to this recording. It lacks somewhat in the bass department, but luckily it’s not overly bright like some other Japanese pressings. Bass can be EQed up if you have that capability. The acoustic guitars on the second side sound really warm and lovely. There’s not much noise either, which is important for this album (assuming you get one close to NM).

Nice quiet pressing, sounds good. Clearer than my UK 2nd Pressing, the only comparison I can offer.
Clarity is the key on this one for me.
Found a good balance between highs and lows.
Great cover and Lyric/ info Insert. -
Edited one year agoBest pressing i've personally heard so far. It really is a little quiet so don't expect a happy result when buying a VG+ copy and getting mixed results because you have to turn up the volume quite a bit. Mine is in NM condition and for me personally, the search comes to an end for now. The vinyl is pretty quiet (consider cleaning your copy, even if NM), the mix is decent. No weird pops or other junk noises whatsoever.
The Jacket is about the best one i've ever seen in of quality and everything. It is stable, thick and really resistant to all sorts of potential damage.
In conclusion, get this pressing if you're searching for a rather cheap option (compared to other Japanese / high quality pressings) that has quiet vinyl and a decent mix. Try getting one in NM though, or a really strong VG++ / EX++ at least. Everything below that probably isn't going to make you happy if u've gotten that deep into looking for "the perfect pressing (you can pay for lol)" -
The main focus on this pressing is definitely the highs. It really looses out on the beautiful tubey low end that the OG UK press has. It does however have just about the nicest jacket I've ever seen! Beautiful tip on textured gatefold

The gain is lower on this pressing - you need to turn your volume up by at least 20% of your normal level. Also the bass feels a bit anemic.
-
Great pressing,no problem with bass & drums but it has to be in NM condition because mastered bit low and you must turn volume up - only complaint is that there’s no locked groove in the end,if you can live with that
