This album deserves a 2LP 45rpm version as well as his other releases. Quiet, consistent music like this really needs to be brought up from the inevitable noise floor.
Artistically, I can justify the noise. Feels like an old record rescued from obscurity. Though I may buy the CD too for a different listening experience. -

Buy straight from the label, still available in clear and black vinyl for $25, $22, respectively. Don’t make my mistake and pay flipper prices. First rule of Discogs: Always check with the label’s site to see if desired edition is still in print/in stock before buying. So disappointed in myself!

Good sound, but my copy has a black speck about the size of a poppy seed imbedded into the pressing. Slightly disappointed as this spoils the otherwise nice-looking clear appearance of the record.

Edited 4 years agoMy OBI strip barcode is 826853444118 instead of 826853444415. However, I think this was a late 2020/early 2021 pressing, so maybe they changed the barcode too. Not sure if this merits a new version...guessing not. Otherwise it is identical.

Edited 4 years agomy copy came sealed with the obi strip on the top of the sleeve, not the spine. the hype sticker is also in the bottom left corner. anyone else have the same?

So pleased with this pressing. First play was full of pops and crackles though. Everything disapeared after one professional wash/clean. Played on: pro-ject 2xperience / Ortofon 2M black / Rega elicit R / Elac FS 407

I am really unhappy with the surface noise on my pressing. Its VG- upon first listen. Perhaps I got a bad clear pressing but its no good.
