Picked up 0581851 today for 3 dollars! Doesn’t have the inserts and the left opening of the sleeve is split and there’s ring wear and age wear. VG+ discs tho so you can’t beat it in my opinion! -
Hello I just got a copy of this(supposedly) here from Discogs. But the labels on the disc don't have with the sliced apple side do not have all the writing under the apple. "MFD by Capitol Records INC A Subsidiary of Capitol Industries INC USA" there is more to that writing, but that should be enough. None of my labels have that, but it is a SWBO-101. The labels look like the Canadian pressing of that year, but the Canadian sleeve has a number on the bottom right side of the front cover, mine does not, or maybe its faded. Any other way I can tell if its a legit 1968 recording? It looks too much like my 1971 recording. -
I am the proud owner of s/n 1363489. Variant 7 of the runout groove etching. No spacing between tracks is interesting compared to the CD versions I have previously listened to.

well, I picked this up for FREE! and what I believe is this version, most of the description matches this one except the runout numbers? none of the SWBO 101 numbers match?... mine runout numbers are as follows side 1.) SWBO-1-101-A71, side 2.) SWBO-2-101-A70, 3.) SWBO-3-101-A75, 4.) SWBO-4-101-A68 #2. The cover stamped record number is A2362966. spine number is SWBO 101 and I see no other labeling as to who pressed it all it says is Apple records. no mention of Capital records, unfortunately it didn't come with any of the goodies... the cover is pretty beat up though the records did clean up nice.

This record sounds like shit. There's almost no dynamic range and the sound is muffled for the most part. This would only be good to own as a collector's item. -
My copy is beat up to say the least. That being said, the sound quality is still able to shine through in a big way. This album just punches you from start to finish. It just has a great sharpness to it. Would like to get a cleaner copy in the future, but this copy is just fine for now. Love it. -

definitely longer fades on 'While My guitar' etc. than on Cd release from the 80's unforunatly that's the version I grew up with, discovering the vinyl version after cleaning it twice, makes the Cd release sound like a fraud...even in G condition -
Hey all - i have an copy still in shrink. I can't tell which edition, but spine shows SWBO 101. Any idea how to value it? Or definitively tell which version it is?
