Much has been said about the variants that have followed this 1983 release. For my money, this OG is the best of them all. Sound is what you'd expect from a live record in 1983, and the performance, although slightly fractured in spots, is pure David and The Spiders. Ronson's guitar is super high in the mix, but that's not a bad thing. He changes up much of what he did on the original ZSATSFM record, but somehow it all works, plus it's a perfect snapshot into David and The Spiders at the end of a tour, with Bowie being the only member to have the knowledge things were coming to an end.
