Wow, this record is actually different sounding than the east coast pressing. Firstly, the overall record is louder in general. Second, venus in furs does have the volume jump around 30 seconds in. And last but not least, there is an ungodly amount of distortion on I'll be your mirror compared to the east coast press. Guess like somebody said earlier this is the version with all the issues. Also selling my copy if anyone is interested...

I have a west coast mono copy that has a purple dot on the labels located right above the catalog number V/5008. The dot is round and about 1/8" in diameter. Both look the same. Does anyone know if this was done during manufacturing or if this is likely man made? Thanks.

Has anyone noticed a shift upwards in volume during 'venus in furs' on this mono press? My copy has it at about 30 seconds in!..can't find any mention of it on-line anywhere..
