The Orb really went to town on this version, live album and some ?prints? included. Weird how at the time I didn't listen to it so much but sounds great today.

Just found a copy of this blue PVC release that I bought back in 1992 and forgot about - it's still sealed. It's great to actually see what it contains thanks to the pics above.

I have this same 3 lps edition in blue, but mine comes with the live album on vinyl and cd. Magnificent Album.

Edited 18 years agoI believe this is one of the Top Ten all time electronic music albums ever! I've listened to this album for more than 12 years now and it never ceases to amaze me. The beautifully textured and complex layers of sound and rhythm morph from one track into the next, yet each track works equally well on it's own. Some parts are haunting and quiet while others make you wanna get up and dance. This album is a trip through peaks and valleys, crafted to perfection by The Orb.

Edited 19 years agoThis is it! The Orb is what got me into house, especially tribal-house and dub-house. The track U.F.Orb still has some sick beats and breaks even today. O.O.B.E is still one of my favorite ambient tracks and the rest is just history. Dr. Alex was on top of his game with this one!
This also caught my interest in the Designers Republic. Great Artwork!

vinyl version of this originally released with U.F.ORB in green vinyl slip cover. original release was CD only and came packed with the patterns and textures video. Adequate quality pressing for the chill room set. A not so subtle reminder of what the Orb was really capable of as a live act.
