Great sounding pressing. But it sounds just like the CD version. No worse, no better. The mixing and mastering of the original version isn't that good to start with. -

Edited one year agosuite-pee is completely non existent, like the pressing was so messed up where the grooves are all smooshed together, has anyone else happened to get a copy like this? tried looking for a Columbia records number with no luck, pretty upset. -
my copy is flat and dead quiet and sounds wonderful on my setup. not sure what these people are on about. -

All of the 2018 SOAD vinyl releases are just not good at all. They’re all distorted, compressed, brickwalled disasters. This one is no exception. Mezmerize and Hypnotize are especially unlistenable. The inner groove distortion is unbelievable on those. The only good thing I can say about the 2018 presses is that they arrived clean and scuff/scratch free. But as soon as the music gets loud/busy, it just falls apart. As far as this record goes, I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for this slop. You’re much better off with an unofficial pressing of this. -
Gotten this record from my local record store, mine also says made in mexico?? I dont know if its an official pressing, but it sure as hell sounds amazing. Inner sleeve came damaged out of the shrink wrap though, and there were also no hype stickers. -
Mine says Made in Mexico as well and there weren’t any hype stickers on it as the pictures in Discogs show, but was sealed. I think it sounds great! Really good to listen to. My Toxicity album sounds great but the wax on this one feels heavier, unless I’m imagining things. Very happy to pick this up! -
Not sure what everyone is complaining about, I ran this through an ultrasonic clean and it’s pristine. Sounds absolutely gorgeous. -
mine sounds pretty decent. this album doesn’t have a fantastic mix to begin with, regardless of medium- and this didn’t promise a remix so i’m not disappointed. it sounds fine, perhaps slightly more warm and dynamic than digital but not a mind blowing pressing.
that being said I wasn’t expecting a mind blowing pressing, and it wasn’t any worse than any digital version of this record. would recommend:)
