Edited 2 months agoI love this monarch mono press. My nm copy plays quiet compared with my nm stereo monarch. I feel the mono, dedicated or not, is more upfront and slightly louder than the stereo.

I picked up a Near Mint copy of this album and I can say that this recording despite the issues in surface noise with this being a monarch copy and inherit with the original pressings, this record sounds absolutely wonderful in mono and even better with a mono cartridge, which I feel like adds so much to a mono recording you kind of need one with some records especially fold downs like 'Waiting For The Sun' and 'Beggars Banquet'.
