Phil Collins – ...But Seriously

Fabulous. Phil Collins has taken it very seriously. Dynamic sound and with a lot of punch. Absolutely satisfied. My impeccable copy on both vinyls.

I’m wondering why there are no words about the production, mastering, sound of that LP here. It has an impressive detailed, warm sound with deep bass and perfectly natural sounding high notes. For me a clear reference record, not for the commercial songs, but for the outstanding sound that reminds to Phil’s debut.

His brother was a cartoonist, my grandfather too, they met because of this and worked together, his brother phil offered a signed vinyl of this one, with the name of the siblings of my father. I still haven't seen it i have to go to take it

Sounds great, a good balance of forward vocal & low end!

Really nice album, quiet, clean…… I was planning to get the US ‘Atlantic’ pressing but ‘grabbed’ this & pleased I did. UK pressings are generally a safe bet but this is at the upper end.

i hv heard "another day" countless times on radio and the OG CD. but only on this europe OG LP i could actually hear david crosby's bckg vocals clearly. masterdisk in deadwax despite being a non US pressing

As close to perfect as you’re gonna find. Amazing album that sounds damn near flawless

incisione spettacolare, la voce di Collins brilla come non mai. Non avrei mai detto che questo LP potesse suonare così bene, specialmente il Lato A dove sono spremuti quasi 30 minuti di musica.

La versione 33 giri è assolutamente quella da prendere, con l'ordine delle canzoni voluto in origine da Collins, non quella digitale con le tracce tutte messe a caso e due bonus track brutte.

шикарный альбом от мастера барабанов и хорошего певца. Еще с детства познакомился с этим альбомом (хотя тогда на кассете было просто написано "фил коллинз `89", записанным на 1 сторону 60 минутной кассеты). Но этого хватило, чтобы полюбить этот стиль исполнения, чистоту звука и переслушивать при первой возможности. Уже в начале 2000х получилось записать все его альбомы в mp3-формате на cdr-болванку и ознакомиться с его дискографией более детально. Но всё-равно этот альбом- мой самый любимый до сих пор

Very impressed with this lp. I have the original which sounds pretty good for 12 songs on 1 lp but this double set easily exceeds it in fidelity. Bigger and fuller is how I can best describe it. Good songs by Phil too.
