Sound ist Top, Dynamik ist ebenfalls auf gutem Niveau, finde die Pressung gut. Musik ist sowieso sehr gut. Hurricane ist natürlich herausragend.

Great sounding record. The arrangements are fairly sparse with the exception of “Hurricane” and allow the vocals of Emmylou Harris to shine through. I enjoy the inclusion of violin on “Oh, Sister” and “One More Cup of Coffee.”

Looking for the best pressing of this album, is this the one?

Jesus, where did they record this thing? This is not a good sounding record by any measure. Not terrible, but super lacklustre for its time. I have nothing to compare it to, so I'll assume the comments below are right and it's not down to mastering.

I own both the standard Bob Dylan – Desire and this particular pressing from the same year. The sound quality on this version is far superior—so much so that I’d say it’s worthy of an audiophile label. The mixes are slightly different from the original, adding to its uniqueness. If you come across one, don’t hesitate to grab it.

Wow. This pressing sounds fantastic, everything sounds clear, no distortion, barely any surface noise. Overall, this is an amazing sounding record.

Overall this pressing is a 3/5 mostly due to the IGD that really hurts the presentation. I would really like to purchase the Mobile Fidelity pressing of this recording but I’m hesitant to pay the absurd prices being asked for these days.
