I reached out to a seller here to ensure their copy had KG in the deadwax... on confirmation I purchased the LP, and when it arrived I was relieved and excited to see those initials... the sound is absolutely AMAZING ... I've had an original for a decade or more, and always wondered what an analog reissue might sound like... now I know... I'm so glad to have picked this up... As others have mentioned, the MIX has some weird parts here and there... lowered vocals, mostly... that's not something that is going to be addressed in a re-master... so assuming the mix was blessed by the band, I can't imagine this album sounding any better!!! Reach out to sellers to find out if they have a KG copy!!!

Sounds puchy and very analog. The bass is great and the guitars crunch. Very happy. A minimal amount of surface noise.

Absolutely love this album! The secret to apeman is if you have a mono button, push it and crank that tune up, you will NOT be disappointed :)

I have this 50th Ann. reissue which has the same cover/digipak, hype sticker and booklet as this entry except mine has made in USA on the back cover where this has made in and there was a different barcode on the shrink wrap. Additionally, my CD has made in USA in the rim text while this entry’s CD has made in the EU. Appears to be two different releases thus warranting a US entry.

Wow what a pressing the sound quality is fantastic and it is currently on sale in many UK stores picked it up for £14 at Rough Trade in Liverpool.

Recieved the French pressing. To me it sounds fabulous. the inner notes state it was cut by KG at his studio. I emailed BGM for clarification on if it's the same cut or not hopefully they get back to me.

what is the rpm of these 7" 's . if it doesn't specify does it default to 33RPM?
